Senso is a Persian café that has Drive thru, Eat In, and Take Out services. It is centrally located at 9218 Yonge and Carrville street, Richmond Hill ; it serves all day breakfast, fresh fruit juice, ice cream and dessert. Senso is open from 9am to 11 pm and is easily accessible by car or public transit from any part of the GTA or York region.

I first went to Senso with my two daughters Nono and Noma. We needed a place to chill, sit and eat light eats and we decided to try Senso. We got nice window facing seats. I ordered cantaloupe ice cream, and I was not disappointed! It felt so great as this heavenly ice-cream went down my throat. While I have eaten the cantaloupe fruit several times, it was my first-time eating cantaloupe ice cream, and I would describe the taste as delectable. To sum it up, the ice cream was sweet yet refreshing and airy. I also ordered a Detox Herbal tea. Refer to pictures below for this unique and /enticing ice cream and the Detox Herbal tea.

Senso also serves a variety of beverages that include Stressless Herbal Tea, Relaxing Herbal Tea, Organic Beet Latte, Borage with Lime etc. If chance and $$ permit, I would love to try all other beverages that Senso has to offer.

Since my first experience was amazing at Senso, I decided to go there for brunch with my friend A. When I opened the menu, I was thrown into a kid in a candy store mode. There were so much mouth-watering and appetizing Persian Breakfast dishes. After deliberating if I should order the Turkish Omelette, the Bandar Omelette, or the Nargesi Omelette; I chose the Nargesi Omelette. The Nargesi Omelette is made of spinach, caramelized onion, mushroom, and egg. I was not disappointed. It was not only healthy, and the flavours were well balanced. The Nargesi omelette thrilled my tastebuds! It was served with fresh bread, cheese, tomato, cucumber, cashews, honey, and butter. I ordered Saffron Herbal Tea to wash down this delicious brunch combo. Refer to the below picture for the delicious brunch I ate at Senso.

My friend ordered a mushroom omelette which was also served with bread, cheese, tomato, and cucumber. She expressed to me how her meal was delectable. See pictures below for the delicious brunch my friend had.

We then ordered cakes to wrap up our delicious brunch choices. A ordered a chocolate mousse cake and I ordered a pistachio cake. Our taste buds were both dancing to the choices we made! My pistachio cake was not too sweet, it was what I would describe as heavenly and perfect!!! Refer to the pictures below for the chocolate mousse and pistachio cake respectively.

What’s not to love about Senso, it’s cozy, and homely and there is so much good food on their menu that I still need to try. My foodie mind and the sweet tooth cannot help thinking of the mouth-watering baked goods that were displayed at Senso. If I had the money and the stomach to accommodate all the yummy-looking goodies shown below, I would have ordered them all.

I went back to Senso by myself, and I had a sausage and egg breakfast with the regular sides in the above mentioned breakfast items. Saffron tea has become my favorite herbal Persian tea, so I found myself ordering it again. I keep ordering it because of the health benefits that have been documented by Cleveland Clinic which are antioxidants and weight loss.

I also ordered a carrot and walnut cake this time and I was not disappointed! Carrot and the walnut cake has always been one of my favorite cakes, but this one was creamy, crunchy, and yummy!. Refer to the picture below for the carrot and walnut cake.

In addition to great service, Senso has a very amazing seating arrangement and very beautifully decorated. See below pictures on the variety of seats you can get at this very amazing café that serves uniquely prepared foods that can send your taste buds to “Enjoy land!!
