My daughter P took me to the Annex location located at 513 Bloor St West Toronto. We went there twice. The first time I went there my daughter, and I shared two dishes, the Green Curry Chicken, and the Pineapple fried rice. The Green Curry Chicken was made of coconut, bamboo shoots, eggs, basil, lemon grass, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper. The flavours were complex; it was savoury, sweet, and the lemon grass added a burst of freshness to the dish.

The pineapple fried rice was made with curry powder, egg, corn, carrot, green pea and garnished with fresh pineapple. I found the rice fluffy and fantastic tasting. The pineapple fried rice combo was succulent, juicy, and yummy tasting. However, my daughter P, felt the eggs were slightly overcooked.

We shared the meals but we both felt full because the meals were wholesome and nutritious, and the portions were large enough for four people. What is even more enticing, is that these shared and delicious meals were reasonably priced at less than

$40. This was surely a great price for a great tasting meal! Prices are subject to change, refer to the following Annex menu link for the current price. New! – EAT BKK  .

The second time I went to Eat BKK Thai bar and restaurant was with both my daughters P and G. We went back to the Annex location as P lives closer to that location. This time we all ordered different meals. G ordered chicken wings and she described them as crunchy and delicious, yet soft inside and easy to chew. She added a sweet and sour sauce to her wings that she described as having a well-balanced taste, and was not too thick or thin, it was exactly right! G described the sauce and wings combo, as flavourful and tasty! Refer to the below pictures for the “crunchily delicious wings G had at Eat BKK Thai. Eight wings cost less than $ 13 but as prices are subject to change refer to the above-mentioned menu link.

P ordered Tom Yum soup with shrimp, a traditional hot and sour soup. She described the soup as having a bit of underlying sweetness she liked despite not being categorized as such. She ate this enticingly looking red soup with a side of their fluffy rice. She also ordered Thai milk tea to accompany her appetizing meal. She described the tea as sweet and having the taste of roasted tea leaves. Refer to the pictures below for the delectable meal that P had.

I ordered noodles combined with shrimp and chicken. It is worth noting that I had to pay an extra $2 to add the shrimp to the meal. I would describe my meal combo as succulent, tender and delicious. I had ginger tea to accompany this delicious meal. The ginger tea was slightly sweeter than what I am used to but still maintained the spicy and fiery taste that I love about ginger. Refer to the below picture for the tasty meal I had and the picture on the right for the tea.
